Process design
The diagram is the program.
The process is drawn in BPMN 2.0 and that is what runs: the same gateways, the same tasks and the same owners the business approved. Nobody translates the diagram into code, so the diagram never goes stale.
What it includes
From diagram to assigned task.
The modeler is bpmn-js on standard notation: the XML it produces opens in any BPMN tool.
Modeler
- Visual BPMN 2.0, seeded with a pool and a start event
- Categories, semantic version and Design or Published status
- Version comparison and full history
- Live instance count before you touch a version
Routing
- Condition builder with AND / OR groups
- Operators for equals, contains, greater, less, starts and ends with
- Rules read the data captured in the forms
- End event that starts another process with variable mapping
Assignment
- Fixed user, rule-based, the initiator, or an outsider by email
- Temporary delegation that redirects the task without changing the design
- Bulk reassignment by filters, with a mandatory reason
- Assignment rule retry from the task itself
Multi-instance tasks
- One task per row of a table from an earlier activity
- Group by a field to split the work
- One instance per instance of the predecessor task
- Parallel or sequential execution

Standards and limits
What you can count on.
Assignment resolves fixed user, rule, initiator and external user by email. Load balancing and hierarchy-based assignment do not execute yet: we don’t offer them as working features.

- The process is stored as standard XML and can be read outside KulturPro.
- Generated documentation
- The system builds a functional document of the process from the diagram, and can re-issue it when the diagram changes.
